Eric Lau - New Territories



UK born and London based producer Eric Lau draws upon memories and reflections of his native China in the rural areas of Hong Kong far from the skyscrapers and state of the art transit systems to the back country filled with sea villages, farmland, and breathtaking panoramic views of mountain ranges in the area referred to as New Territory. But the inspiration for the album also relates to exploring "new territories" in his music, and having the freedom to create an entire album based upon that has helped the artist who has produced for Lupe Fiasco, Dudley Perkins, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Guilty Simpson, Wildchild, Tanya Morgan and more, maintain a free flowing, smooth, jazzy and soulful vibe focused on the beautiful vocals of Rahel, Tawiah, Sarina Leah, Tosin, Annabel and Meshach Brown.

Word of Advice

We don't upload any of the links in this blog because, their are too many floating around anyway, and it's a waste of time. Some do it for points, while some do it for money. Well we don't do it that way here, as long as we can share and let you know what's cracking with those albums we're happy. These guys don't get a lot of exposure, and for damn sure some of them will never graze the mainstream air wave.
